65 Updates Between Now and Year's End

Welcome to The X Bridge.

It's been a while, so let me catch you up on life.

I'm a certified substitute teacher nowadays. That's my day job now. Just got certified this week (spent much of the month attending classes, orientation, and taking tests). When they need me, I'm there. I'm a virtual hero and teaching the youth of the nation in a professional, albeit temporary setting. It's a new experience, and I know I'm going to enjoy it.

As for the future of the site, I'm kind of at a crossroads. I mean, if anybody's been following my Twitter account, you've read that I'm thinking about whether or not there's a place for The X Bridge anymore. I'm kind of at the point that I'm sick of complaining about every little thing. Seriously, it has made me physically ill. I want to make this site a little more creative. But no matter what I do, some people will still consider The X Bridge as a Toonami site.

So, I've set a deadline for myself. December 2. That's the day when I'll decide to either continue the site or leave the internet altogether. I'm too old, and I'm not having as much fun as I used to, and I'm actually at the point that I need to move on to something better. Whether that something better will involve this site or not is up in the air. In the meantime, I'm doing something around here that I haven't done in a long time.

I'm going to post articles here at The X Bridge. Between now and the end of the year, I've set a goal for the site. I'm going to post 65 articles between now and December 31, 2009 just to see if I've still got it. I know I can still write articles, but lately, I haven't felt the need to do so. I'm feeling it now, and I hope it's a feeling that'll last for a while. I want to have fun again, but I don't want to be angry anymore. It's sickening. Sixty-five articles between now and the end of year. Should be fun. Wish me luck!
